The first issue of Journal of Korean Adoption Studies was published in 2009. The Journal of Korean Adoption Studies is dedicated to all aspects of international adoption from Korea. The peer-reviewed journal welcomes academic essays, testimonies of adoption, art, illustrations and reviews of new publications and media as well as other events related to Korean adoption studies.
Journal of Korean Adoption Studies is indexed under ISSN 2092-612X. The journal is currently published bi-annually in English and Korean. In certain circumstances we accept submissions in other languages as well. Academic essays are expected to follow the standard North American MLA style.
