Our Team
Meet the dedicated individuals who make up our dynamic staff at G.O.A.'L!
Comprising both overseas adoptees and native Koreans, we are united by our commitment to carrying out our organization's mission in Korea. With a wide variety of experiences and capabilities, we bring unique perspectives and skills to the table, allowing us to effectively advance our mission and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Louise is a Swedish adoptee who brings over 20 years of experience as a social worker to the adoptee community. She is passionate about connecting adoptees to Korea and community.

Jake is an adoptee who grew up in Oregon. He moved to Korea in 2023. Jake is passionate about making sure adoptees are able to live into their joy. For him, this means food - lots of delicious food and good conversations.

As Korea Integration Coordinator, Imshil has helped countless adoptees smoothly return to their birth country since 2022. She assists with visa and dual citizenship applications along with daily interpretation support at banks, immigration, etc.

As a Korean-American, Kyeong Mi knows firsthand the importance of cultural translation along with language. She has brought this curiosity and empathy into all that she does at G.O.A.'L. since 2021.

Prior to G.O.A.'L., Yeo Kyung spent many years living in Germany and working in social work. She is excited to be bridging these aspects of her own life to inform her work on the Birth Search Team.

As the office manager of G.O.A.'L. since 2020, BR Chin has helped to support the operational efforts of G.O.A.'L.
