Job Title: Programming Staff
Hours: Part-time (10~20hrs per week) | Some weekends required
Compensation: Hourly minimum-wage, all required health insurance and benefits
Location: In-person at the G.O.A.'L. office
Job Brief
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Part-Time Programming Staff member to help design and facilitate community events and social programs. The ideal candidate should have experience in organizing activities, engaging with diverse groups, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. This position will also provide support for different departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Event planning and Coordination
- Design, budget, execute, and facilitate G.O.A.'L.'s community events and social programs in collaboration with G.O.A.'L. staff and partners
- Community Engagement and Communications
- Facilitate communications between G.O.A.'L. and G.O.A.'L. members, partner organizations, and key stakeholders
- Manage and update G.O.A.'L.'s SNS (Instagram and Facebook) and website
- Foster positive relationships with community members through management and hosting of planned events/programming
- Feedback Collection
- Gather feedback from participants to assess the success of programs and suggest improvements for future events via surveys and testimonials
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Provide additional support for different departments as needed
Requirements and Skills
- Basic computer, SNS, and program management software (Monday, Jotform, Cornerstone, etc.) skills are a must
- We are seeking candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with our team
- Previous experience working with diverse populations and/or the adoptee community
- Previous experience working in event planning or program management
- Working English proficiency is a must | Some level of Korean language skill is preferred | Working proficiency in French is a plus
- Korean adoptees and descendants of Korean adoptees are encouraged to apply
- Legal working and residency visa for Korea is required
